Aynalem Workneh, Founder/Executive Director
Aynalem (Aynee) is Ethiopian-American, the Founder and Executive Director of Angels of Las Vegas, a non-profit organization with a mission to inspire hope to those affected by all types of cancer and life threatening illness.
She is an accomplished business woman, visionary thinker, unshakable optimist, believes in a bright future & ability to build it together by helping others. Aynee is very active in the Las Vegas community. She served as Community Outreach Chair on the Board of the National Association of Women Business Owners of Nevada (NAWBO) for two years, on the Board of the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Nevada’s Young Professional Society, and currently the Director of African Diaspora of Las Vegas.
For her dedication and community service, Aynee was awarded the 2012 Athena Award for “Young and Professional Youth Leadership." She became the 2012 finalist for the Rising Star Award for “Women of Distinction Award for National Association of Women Business Owners.” She was named in newsmakers for Las Vegas Review Journal in March 2013, and inducted into the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Nevada Hall of Fame in 2013. Aynee hopes that her story inspires others to build businesses and serve their local community.
Warlesea R. Fatta, Chief Financial Officer
Warlesea R. Fatta is a Health and Wellness Coach who has spent the last 33 years of her life in the health and wellness Industry In many capacities. In her day job she Is a Overseas Manager with a medical building company where she manages three teams of over 150 associates who live in India and in Bangladesh.
She is also an Entrepreneur where she proudly manages a team of over 100 partners who are changing lives everyday with better health and wealth. She has been very instrumental in helping moms and dads stay at home with their children while making a lucrative work from home business.
Serving on the board of Angels Of Las Vegas as Chief Financial Officer has been a a wonderful journey and life fulfilling to say the least. To be able to feed and clothe hundreds of homeless people monthly right in our own city. And now with the help of our organic, natural, whole food nutritional products we are providing help for those who are sick with Covid and who are undergoing cancer treatments. What a awesome non-profit organization to be a part of. She resides here in Las Vegas with her husband and three children.
Angela Go, Secretary
Angela Go is an audit director at BDO and previously served as an audit principal at PBTK, where she joined in September 2006. Prior to PBTK, she worked in the retail industry for 13 years, holding several management positions. Angela’s retail experience has provided her with valuable customer service and management skills that translate well to the accounting profession. During her 14 year tenure with PBTK, she evolved to become a technical resource for compliance engagements. In 2015, Angela became a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
Dr. Ati Hakimi, Director of Community Healthcare
Dr. Ati Hakimi has been practicing medicine for over 20 years. She was trained in family medicine at Northwestern University and is fellowship trained in Geriatric medicine from Rush University medical center.
Hakimi started her direct primary care practice to re- establish the quality of care each person deserves with a physician. She believes in preventive healthcare to maintain overall wellness physically and mentally. She practices compassionate healthcare and treats every member as if they are a part of her own family.
Lisa Neshite, Office and HR Director
Lisa is a Seasoned Senior HR professional with over 15 years of Human Resource Management experience in several industries. She joined the Board of Directors for Angels of Las Vegas (AOLV) in 2020 to develop HR and office processes and procedures, as well as donate her time helping with AOLV's Community Outreach initiatives.
Vonne M. Triplett, Director of Community Outreach/Donation and Volunteer Coordinator
Spent the last 20 years of my life working in the Healthcare field and also serving in the US Military for 10 years.
Recently started my new business as a Healthcare Forensic Auditor. I enjoy making a difference in the community.
Serving on the Board of Angels of Las Vegas for the last year and a half has been a wonderful life-changing experience meeting wonderful men and women sharing the same passion and dreams for our community.
Helping people in our Community is not only a need, it is a must. Angels of Las Vegas has given me the opportunity to serve in the community with an organization built on serving others.
Eliza Chavez, Community Outreach
Eliza is a style and fun-loving entrepreneur, wife, mother of 3 and grandma of 5 who loves to meet new
people, live on the edge, and be challenged. She’s originally from New Mexico but has called Las Vegas
her home since 1988.
She was diagnosed with Ovarian/Uterine Cancer in October 2014, had surgery, and went through 5 months of chemotherapy. She was introduced to the Angels of Las Vegas organization because of her
history, and when she learned about their heart and mission to help cancer patients, she said “yes, I’d
love to help!”
“Navigating the cancer battle is challenging, to say the least, but I consider a positive outlook and faith
as crucial to fighting this and any life challenge, and as part of this amazing team, I plan to help make a
difference. Being a survivor, I have an empathy that I can use to understand, encourage, pray for and be
a listening ear.
Going through cancer, chemotherapy and / or radiation can take a serious toll on your body, your
health, and your self-esteem. I now have a passion to help people restore faith and confidence, know
that they can win the battle and feel amazing about themselves again.”
Leslie LaGuardia, Media and Public Relations
Leslie LaGuardia represents a wide array of clients whose talents span sports, dance, healthcare, corporate, lifestyle, and more. Leslie prides herself on her rapport with these clients, but also her media relationships. Originally from New York, Leslie brought her marketing and public relations savvy to Las Vegas in 2014 to enjoy a warm and tropical environment and to expand her operations.
Leslie possesses a life long love for the arts and has channeled this passion into first-hand experience working with celebrities and dancers from ABC's "Dancing With The Stars", legends in film and Broadway on the Broadway Theatre Project, dancer legends for the Center for Career Transitional Dancers, and many, many world renown inductees into the National Museum of Dance and Hall of Fame.
Elizabeth Lewis, Director of Community Relations
Elizabeth Lewis is a Mortgage Loan Officer, currently running and growing her team alongside her husband. Prior to that she was in Hospitality and Management for 15 years. She’s originally from Los Angeles, CA and has been a Las Vegas resident since 2002.
It brings such joy and fulfillment to be able to help the community in any way possible. Angels of Las Vegas has shown me the true meaning of selflessness, compassion, giving and appreciation. “Be the reason someone believes in the goodness of people.”
Presently, Elizabeth volunteers her time as Director of Community Relations for her favorite charity, Angels of Las Vegas. Elizabeth has held positions on numerous committees throughout the years such as the Give A Child Hope Christmas Toy Drive and Night of Hope Celebration.
John Ortenberg - Chief Technology Officer
John Ortenberg has 25 years of experience working in a variety of technical, sales, and partner roles for some of the largest and most innovative companies in the IT industry including Microsoft, Cisco, Citrix, Docker and Puppet.
John is a father of four teenagers currently working at his second stint at Microsoft's GitHub division as a Partner Manager, John has recently moved to Las Vegas.

Having seen the devastating affects this disease has had on those I cherish, I felt compelled to help people who are struggling in any way I can. Being a part of Angels of Las Vegas and working alongside the selfless and dedicated people who make such an impact on peoples' lives in a tangible, hands-on way has been a true honor and privilege for me."
Eric Eschmann - Commumity Outreach
Eric is a Senior Financial Systems Analyst for Clark County Nevada, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
along with 20 years’ experience working as a Business Analyst for various banks and financial
institutions, and his passion is to instruct and increase financial education and smart banking strategies
for the individual.
He found out about Angels of Las Vegas through his wife, Eliza Chavez, who also sits on our board and is
a cancer survivor. In his words, “As I watched firsthand the effect that cancer had on my wife, I have a heart for those going through this very terrible disease, so when I was asked to come on board I was more than glad to lend a hand. I plan on providing any expertise I can in the area of finances, budgets, and of course, as an avid golfer, I will work with our various charity events to help raise money for this very worthy organization.”
Rhonda Nolen - Director of Events and Fund Raising
Ms. Rhonda Nolen is a marketing and sales executive with over 20 years of experience in the entertainment, pharmaceuticals, and spirits business. Ms. Nolen began her career in the nightclub and music business, helping launch Mary J, Blige, Jodeci, Heavy D & The Boyz, Father MC, Christopher Williams at Uptown Records, and SWV, Chantay Savage, Rome and Tyreese at RCA Records. After a ten-year career in the music industry, Ms. Nolen moved on to the pharmaceutical business where she worked with multi-million- dollar brands such as Altace, Asmanex, Avapro, Ambien, Claritin, Levoxyl, and Plavix. Ms. Nolen was a top salesperson winning the National Presidents Club Award 5 years straight. After mastering her sales & marketing techniques, Ms. Nolen represented new and established brands in the spirits business. She launched new brands like Bud Light Lime, Hypnotic, and Alize and helped with Budweiser, Martell, and Absolut's rebranding, respectively.
Today, Ms. Nolen is the Chief Executive Officer at Smart Tyme Consultants, a full-service agency specializing in Business Development, Marketing, Sales Division and Event Production. The headquarters of Smart Tyme Consultants is located in Las Vegas, Nevada, with satalite offices in Chicago, Illinois and Detroit, Michigan. Ms. Nolen is a graduate of Howard University in Washington, DC, with a bachelor's degree in Radio, TV & Film and is currently working on her master's degree in Communication Management from the University of Southern California.
Cassidy Glaiel, MSW, LSW
Cassidy is a licensed master of social work, actively practicing in southern Nevada. She pursued her undergraduate degrees in psychology, and her masters degree in social work from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She has served across several branches of the field working directly with patients and their families providing therapeutic interventions, advocacy services, as well as in program development and grant writing within the community. She has worked in various settings including healthcare, psychiatric treatment, rehabilitation and detox, government and legal, the nonprofit sector, academia, end-of-life care, volunteer groups, and with the homeless and disabled. Cassidy is an established grant writer with a passion for helping to bridge resource gaps and grow programming available to all within the community.
